There were no surprises as the GAA players of the month were announced today.  Henry Shefflin and PJ Ryan for Kilkenny and Graham Canty of Cork and Tom O’ Sullivan for Kerry.

PJ Ryan was outstanding in the Hurling final, making some tremendous saves – winning man of the match for his heroics. Winning their four in a row truly makes them arguably the greatest Hurling team of all time.

Graham Canty’s award will be of little consolation after losing the final- but his performances against Tyrone and Donegal this year were outstanding. Tom O’Sullivans defensive record speaks for itself, but his rock solid performance in the final capped off a strong end to the season.  Well done to all the players involved, they left us with some great memories from the summer.
